Maa Durgaji Senior Secondary Vidyalaya was established in 1980 by Late Dr. Chhavinath Singh, Reader in Applied Chemistry B.H.U. Varanasi. He was an eminent Educationist and always stood for the cause of society. He dedicated his entire life to the educational upliftment of children of remote rural areas of Jaunpur. After his sad demise his son Shri S. P. Singh, the present Manager, Reader in the faculty of Law T. D. College Jaunpur, took over the responsibility with the Conviction to execute the ideas and ideals of the founder Manager Dr. Chhavinath Singh. With unflinching determination he got it affiliated to CBSE on 14th January 1994, Since then it has made a long stride in the field of Education. It is blessed with able and capable leadership, who will inspire the generation to realise that hard work in right direction results in success.

 It is proud of its commitment of excellence in scholastic as well as co- scholastic domain. It is one of the best ever-growing institutions for holistic evolution of education. It is religiously implementing the CCE Scheme with Academic integrity, which will encourage better learning and enable the children to achieve their objectives of life. It provides comprehensive academic education to develop children’s intellectual, Physical, Social, Moral and Spiritual power.

Today’s children are very different, so we should look at the communication of values, which is an integral part of Human life. Human life is a mission for the self and for the entire human society and the creation. We are touching children’s mind and hearts in a far deeper ways than is evident.
